-Whenever I hit a bump, the leaf springs or something slaps hard.(I dont know if this is normal?). I dont know if its the leaf springs or something else. It only happens when I hit a bump.

-If anyone knows what it is please tell me

could be the dump body. Lift the dump a few inches and see if it dose it.

I have a '94 F350 and when i would haul my aluminum stock trailer empty the helpers spring would be about a 1/2 inch from the brackets and they would slap when going over bumps.

turns out there is rubber cushion things you can put on the brackets

I just checked everything the leaf springs shackles and everything. but one thing stood out,the leaf spring clamps were rusty and worn out of the help springs. So I bought new clamps and put them on.

-How tight should the helper springs be when i put the new clamps on?

Thanks
