I slipped my con ofe and went to a con FE 13.25 conversion with the new flywheel and it was pretty nice. A little more aggresive than the ofe.Usually tried starting out in 1st cause it would chatter a little starting off in 2nd, but she'd bite real good. And it was a little tougher to get in gear.
i ran one, the chatter would have been bad if i didn't have 4wd. i had to put it in low range to back my big trailers up, or it would buck real bad. i have since went to a dual disk and that fixed everything. i just wish i went dual disk up front.
What DD did you go with? The street version? A pulling version? I have been thinking about one myself so I can just be done with it and not worry about the clutch again. How is the DD in normal driving? Backing a trailer etc??
