The long anticipated update is finally available! Matt got everything updated to the website over the last 2 days and Mick got the links up this afternoon/evening. To update your tuning files, log-in to the website and go to "Update Tuner" on the right side of your screen under "User Menu." If anyone has any difficulties with this, please email Mick at [email protected]. Also, I am available to answer any questions that I can here in this thread, through PM, or through email.

What this update includes:

*275HP Tune added to Level 1 tuning (free for all users)
*350HP Tune added to Level 3 tuning (free for all level 3 users)
*File repair to allow EGR cycling with no EGT sensors
*3.55 Gear ratio converter lock scheduling lowered to address late lockup issues
*Recalibrated shifting on 250HP, 275HP, 300HP, and 310HP tunes for more comfortable daily driving (on all Job build and year models)
*No-EGR files have been added for all users, both standard and Spartan TCM, for ALL tuning levels
*All 250HP, 275HP, 300HP, 310HP, and 350HP have cold weather surging corrected, entirely.
*Please note that this update is fully compatible with the latest Ford flash update.
*This update will only work with tuners that have already been updated to the "V2" software. If your tuner has not been updated, just contact our tech support and we can walk you through it.

Once again, if you have any questions regarding this update, please let us know!

Thanks,

Old 275 tune

Loading the update now and am thankful for it but what about us Old 275 tune buyers that paid development costs and so on? The new files allow anyone to have what we originally had to pay for.
Is there going to be some kind of upgrade program?

Never mind. I went onto the web site and I see what the deal is. With the new tunes if you upgrade your old 275 tune license with the 310 upgrade you get that with all the upper tunes too correct?

There is not going to be any upgrades. We did the same thing with the 250 tune when we went to strategy flash tuners in 2009. Those guys that paid $200 for the 250 tune had to deal with it. I don't mean that in a mean/rude way, but it is what it is. We felt this was the best route to go this time around.

If you have any questions beyond the info posted in this thread, email [email protected].

I'd like to be the first to say BRAVO to Matt & Crew for all their hard work. I was one of Spartan's worst critics (actually, the worst) when it came to them not delivering "the goods" back in January. I had no idea (and I'm sure no one else did either) that the Update would be comprised of so many improvements, features and the bonus of a 275 tune for folks licensed up to the 250.

I've never felt the need to upgrade to the new Strategy Flash system or the V2 software, until now. I'd been planning to run a few of the KEM tunes (because of comments on various Forums about better shifting). I realize that upgrading my tuner will prohibit use of the KEM tunes, but if these new batch of Spartan tunes are more "daily driver" friendly, then I'm still on the Spartan Bandwagon.

I loaded the 275 tune and it's definetly more power than I would have expected over the 250 tune, I saw 36lbs over 32lbs of boost between the two tunes, a little more aggressive than I want to run everyday but I had to try it out, I'll try out the 250 this week and see how it is. Thanks to Spartan for the upgrade and for the updated tunes. I really need some ladder bars, but hate to $500 for them, but I might have to bite the bullet.
