I read a post on another forum about using a quadzilla stock no dpf then installing a pmt with that. Is this possible stacking tunes and if so what are the risks of doing so? Anyone have any experience in doing this?
Thanks

Why spend the money when EFI live will do twice what that stack will do and cost you less in the long run?:thumbsup

Just get a PPE tuner and be done with it. If you want more, get EFI Live thru SocalDiesel, Duramaxtuner or Ridgerunner.

You'll still be able to regulate the DPF, plus be able to tune way past what any handheld is doing so far with the LMM.

Do a Google search for IdahoRob. Hes a member on a few other sites, and is in your area. Hell of a smart guy. IIRC, tunes his own truck.

i was told if u are gonna turn off the dpf on your tuner that u should take off the exhaust to. B/c it will just plug up the filter if u don't and the truck will run worse and get worse mpg. I was also told not to stack chips on these new motors b/c it will tear them up, what it will tear up i don't know for sure. I am running efi live and i like it with 4 in exhaust and everything seems to work just fine. I've had it on for almost a year and not one code i get around 18 19 highway and about 15 17 city highway speeds around about 80 mph though so if i slowed down would pry get better.
