We have travelled 1200 miles up to 7500 feet with head winds and today long climbs on Interstate 84 towing a total of combined weight of 22,920 lbs with no fan at any time. chevman:thanks: Killer Bee

We added Killer bees cold air intake with fender scoop, EOC with shroud and air dam. Another test will be in May. chevman

Where are you heading in May? Sounds like you will be set with your setup. I recently Black-Boxed a 400 mile towing trip (with EFILive V2) and became rather bored looking at ECT. My TD-EOC was installed back in July of 2006. Zero problems .... our local Chevy diesel mechanic really liked the design (while I was having an injector, power steering pump and intermediate steering shaft replaced under warranty.)

Let me know how the fender scoop works - I did see my IAT rise while idling after towing and in Stop and Go traffic. It does return quickly back to within 10 degrees of ambiant on the highway.

I have not heard from KB in a while - I think he was recently designing a better intake tube that fits onto the turbo - I'd be curious how far he has come with this.

We will be towing highway 97 and interstate 90 to I-5 so going both directions on the 2 mountain passes will tell me what I want to know. No fan is what I hope to hear. May 19th is when we will be home again. I will post what happens. chevman towing a combined of 22920 lbs.

I believe KB's identifying potential demand due to the high cost of tooling required to produce the part.
