I've started shaving my head not long ago, so I'm still learning. So far, I let my hair go for a few days then shave with with a safety razor. The only problem is when it gets a bit too long, the razor starts pulling on the hair and is uncomfortable.
I tried knocking down the hair with an electric shaver and cleaning it up with a safety razor but I noticed the electric got it pretty close already (I went with and against the grain, I guess that's what you're supposed to do?). The whole process definitely didn't take as long this time around and was certainly more pleasant since there was no pulling.
What do you think - is using both a valid technique? or should I spend a little more time with the electric like on this url and call it a day?
