I seen something about using one of these on a cummins a while ago and did a search but couldnt find it. I was wondering if you could use one on a 91 cummins some how.

When they first came out a lot of the nonIC people bought them. There wasn't very many complaints about them.

They use a sensor that clamps onto the #1 injector line. It reads the injection pulse threw the line and convertes it to RPM.

No factory tach's on nonIC trucks. 91.5's didn't get factory tach's eather. 92/93 was the years for the factory tach's.

nonIC didn't have PCM's to provide the tach signal the way Dodge set them up.

91.5's didn't have the crank position sensors on them to provide the tach signal.
