Only thig I could find was tht there are 4 stud converters and 6 stud converters. As long as the 4r100 part is for a diesel, and the stud count is the same, you should be fine. Just consider that if it's a stock converter, it's not going to be much better than what you are replacing, so you may want to use it as a core and just have one built if you can swing it. Swapping a converter is more work on these trucks than if want to do twice if the 99 converter is not brand new or an upgraded one.
that is true they are a pain but I have a 99 that im parting out to fund a cummins swap in my 97 f350. so until I have all the parts I need to do the swap im just trying to keep my daily driver alive for now. thank you for the help.
