There are many different routes to go when it comes to tranny upgrades. You can rebuild upgrade parts on your own or purchase a complete unit. I chose to with a replacement from BTS and I believe that I could not have made a better choice. Being that you are from Ohio if you were to go with a BTS I would definately make the trip and have it done there versus doing the shipping and changing it yourself. The complete tranny is not cheap but the warranty and customer service are top notch with the BTS not to mention it is bullet proof as a tranny can be.

Who taught you that Baby Boy??? Just parts eh?:roflmao: Who's your Daddy!!! :pointlaugh LOL LOL LOL LOL

Definately look outside the state of Ohio as well. You will find the best there in Wapakoneta, Ohio - Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum where a Ford Truck is parked outside, snow plow by the door. And you will find the very dishonest as well right in state and fully documented Ohio secretary of states office. Lookup dieseljim He knows Ohio. :)

If your buying a complete tranny--look west first. If not, keep looking--- insert smirk icon here. :woot:

You need a man who understands why your not shifting out, not a parts list that totally missed the parts that failed. It overlooks what those parts may have taken with them as well. People who are hands on know that, those that don't get their own hands dirty won't.
You have a failure. It will be beyond a common rebuild, and have contamination to be dealt with.

If you need to drive this truck, try a manual shift strategy, using M1, M2, Then D. That may work awhile if she has enough left using the extra holding elements applied by the strategy. If it's a toy, save your pennies for the build you need that will take care of the contamination and repair as well. Plus it will add some upgrades that will prevent failures.
Hope this cleared up some of the misconceptions out there and helped you. Good Luck and :thanks:
