Im having trouble finding an adapter to mate my transmission to a 12 valve. My truck is a '99 F250 Super Duty 4x4 with a V10 and ZF5. Nobody seems to make an adapter for the ZF5 when it was originally behind a V10. So what is my best option here? Get a ZF6 that was originally behind a Diesel or change to an NV4500? Will the Diesel ZF6 mount directly to my transfer case from the V10 ZF5? Or, how will I mount the NV4500 to my transfer case? Looking for suggestions on what to do, unless someone knows where I can get a 12 valve adapter for a V10 ZF5. Looking to keep costs down. According to FordCummins, they dont make one and from what I can see Destroked doesnt either. Thanks.

I might be wrong but I think the zf5 and zf6 are the same bell housing, not real sure but you could call destroked or GOS and they will let you know if that is the one that will work.
