My E4OD in the 96 F250 has over 200k on it. I changed the TC at about 90 k when I put the H2E in. I'm running about 400 hp to the ground and can't seem to break the tranny. The TC will slip enough to set a code and blink the od light (up goes the pressure) when towing just about any time I work it hard on a hill. The weakest link is the TC..
I have a new Suncoast setup in the shop waiting to put in but now I think it's time to make an engine change along with the new tranny. A bunch of $ but Dodge and Chevy diesel traffic is getting faster and they are picking on me..
