I was wondering what the advantage was by changing your valve springs? I have a 04.5 Dodge and when I inquired about some valve springs they wanted to sell me a set of 140 pound ones. The most I have ever heard of people using were 60 pound ones. Any suggestions on what is right for me?

People put all kinds of lables on products to sell them. The 60 lbs springs are usually for 12V and are about the same size as Big Block Chevy springs. 24V and Common Rails can use Small Block Chevy springs and some performance places sell special springs calling them 110 or what ever. If you are not turning more than 32-3400 rpm then stock will work provided you don't excede 50 to 55 psi of boost. It all works together boost is trying to open the valves and rpm are trying to make them float.
