Will it hurt to run it unplugged?
BTW unplug waste gate because of lack of boost, boost is now up to normall to 22psi.

What NAPA filter do you use for the DIY intake?

Unplugging the wastegate could allow the turbo to overspeed and damage it. It could also create a lot of backpressure with that small stock turbine housing. So yes, it could hurt something. That being said, I've run with it unplugged and so have alot of others. Their is a possibility for damage though so be aware.

Running without the wastegate control won't help much on a stock truck. If you have a boost gauge, don't push the stock turbo over 25# of boost.
