When I put my truck back to stock, it sat right at 2" higher in the rear. Thats right about where a F250 sits when you buy it new. Its been driving me crazy looking at the rear end up higher. I know from pas experience that I dont want it to sit level because when they sit perfectly level, they look like they are squatting to me. So I decided if I put a 1" spacer in the front it would be abut 1" higher in the rear and would be perfect. So I picked up a 1" TEI spacer. I threw it in today and it sits exactly where I wanted it to. It actually ended up being right at 3/4" of an inch higher in the rear. From the ground to the center highest point of the wheel opening is 41.75" on the front and 42.5" on the rear. Exaclty where I wanted it. Next step is to pick up a set of ICON 2.5" Leveling Kit Coils and cut a coil or so (will take some experimenting) off to get it exactly where it is now except with the ride of the ICON dual rate spring.

Anyway..enough chit chat...here are a few pics after installing the 1" ICON TEI spacer today:

Very Clean Nice Truck!! I am contemplating buying a 2011 F350 Crew SB 4x4 and would like to Run 37' Toyo M/T with a 22' KMC wheel.. How much lift would it take do you think? I don't want to get to high because I will use the truck for gooseneck trailering. and tires that big I think would order the truck with 4.10 rear gear ratio... any thoughts??

I bought the truck brand new, went to 2.5" leveling kit, to 4.5" Icon, to 5.5" Icon, added the ICON 4-link, to 7" Icon, to 8" Icon. I also did a 08 rear leaf spring conversion on it. I pulled everything off (except the 08 spring cinversion) with intentions of selling the truck. I didn't get many serious offers on it. In the meantime I really enjoyed driving the truck more. I upgraded my stereo system, picked up a set of 20" Harley wheels, and added a SCT with custom tunes from Gearhead Automotive. I absolutely love my truck now. Drives good, pulls good, loads easier, fits in parking garages and carwashes and gets better fuel mileage.

I need to update that lol.

The cab lights are factory. My truck is a F350, I think all of the F350's I looked at had them.

mine is an f350 as well but didnt come with them, i really want the recon smoked and i know you can add them after the fact but im not sure i want to risk any holes leaking etc, thats why i wanted to see if yours were factory or not, im really diggin the look of your truck, kinda makes me want to change it up a little. Im really thinking of going to 325/50/22 and seein how it looks on the 4.5 and if its still pretty tall doing a 2.5" spring with Tei

i dont think ill come back down that far, plus i dont even want to know how low profile of a tire i would have to run with a 22x11 with the offset/backspacing of my wheels, on top of that then i would need to go back to stock gearing etc
