I would also like to add-

I dont really care what anyone's opinion is on the two products at this point. I have seen enough bitching, I will decide for myself now.

My rig is not a known overheater, but I am sick and tired of listening to the fan so I am going to try a kit. Then I am going to run the sheet out of my truck and see what happens. If it doesnt help me I will try the other kit.

My only main concern is that either of these kits will SCREW me in the cold winter weather. In the winter most of my pulling is done in temp of 40F or cooler. Anyone have any idea how one of these cooling kits will affect my winter performance?

Thanks in advance for the answers about winter cooling, and thanks for not making me listen to bickering with opinions on which is better. I AM A FACTS GUY! I WILL TEST IT MYSELF!

I am thinking if that upper limit in the software was not there it would be possible to see much higher odometer readings before the service oil light would come on .
Or would it ?

You will not ever hear me publicly comment on anothers "baby". Just isn't cool. Who would believe me anyway?

The answer on the fan question, wih the TD-EOC: so far, the installations that have used it with the air dam, the fan has made its final appearance. It will be there to help with extreme conditions, but the lack of most of the fan noise has been a very welcomed statistic. It is still there for low speed severe conditions, as it was designed.

Cold weather: this is very important, and underappreciated. It is very easy to overcool this rig, empty, in cold weather. Especially the tranny IMO. The mocal option eliminates the oil cooling in cold weather. I also feel it may be important to remove the air dam, easily done. Those without the mocal option, have some thermostatic protection, just not as effective. It still needs to be seen this winter, to make a final determination, the EOC can always be masked, this renders it dead for heat exchange, and is a simple matter.
