dodge powersteering!! very easy to hookup. dodge alt works just fine, but if u want really simple sell ur ford and have a dodge 200amp single wire alt!!!
What is best setup
Well my conversion is coming along but slowly. Have like two hours afetr work every night and then one day on the weekend. Any ways what is the best set up to use. Dodge power steering or the ford? Dodge alternator or the ford? I'd like to use the ford alt. just cause of the fact I have a 200amp alt. Need some input pros and cons on this. If I used the ford prob be less wiring to do compared to the dodge.

How you hook up your poweresteering pump? I have 3 lines on back of my pump.One goes hydroboost. What about the other 2?dodge powersteering!! very easy to hookup. dodge alt works just fine, but if u want really simple sell ur ford and have a dodge 200amp single wire alt!!!
the big psi port to the hydro boost, other psi port to steering box and the other is the return from the hydro
The main pressure hose goes to the hydroboooost. Then it has its own return line to the pump. Then another pressure line goes from the hyd boost to the PS box, then its return line goes to the pump. Return lines being simple 3/8 hose with a hose clamp.
