Well, it depends on what mods you have and how many miles are on your truck. If you fill out your signature, it will help us help you. If you really want to start competing with your truck, and putting down some impressive numbers, you'll want a trans that not only has upgraded Tc/Vb, but better internals. If you plan on making over 450hp, I'd seriously suggest looking into some billet as well, input, output, mid. Suncoast and DTT are both very reputable sources, I personally won't go the way of ATS nor would I recommend them thats just based on what I've seen some people I know go through. There are some other companies making transmissions that are supposedly very high quality, however, I have no experience with them so I can't talk.
Hope this offers a little insight, and welcome to the garage.
Thanks I already called and talked with someone at Enterprise and I think i'm going to put in just a t/converter and valve body because i use it on the farm still. Here is a few things i have for it already :ats high ram, 4" exhaust,k-n cold air intake. Fass fuel and banks wastegate that go on next week.
Oh i forgot to add my soon to come list Edge w/juice,ats manifold, suncoast t/converter and valve body and bigger injectors, and hot rod vp44 injector pump$$$$$$$$$ I know it's alot of money but when ur single u need to spend money on something
true to that! do you have any plans on a turbo? After a certain amount somewhere near 32psi, the hx35 starts pushing hot air, and just building heat. They are a pretty limited turbo and will usually only show 350rwhp but can be pushed to around 400ish, however that comes at the price of a lot of heat. I would definitely put a turbo on your list, especially with the HRVP on top of big injectors.
We have, The converter shop, Suncoast, Ats,Edge, Industrial Injection and F1 Dealers and could set you up with a package or just give you your disscounted price for being a TDG member. If you intrested call or pm us.
