i posted this on a different forum thought i would ask here before i pull the heads

the motor will not rotate past 350 degree, history one day was turning over had a tight spot started ran perfect no prblems all day, next day when cold had a tight spot made a clunk when turning over and will not go past 350 degrees, pulled intake, loosen belts seperated tranny from block to check if clutch, some keep saying pull heads pull heads, ok but motor is in truck on city street that is getting really deep for a city street, again all push rods etc look great no collapsed springs, motor has no drag when rotating, im leaning torward broken timing gear anyway checking to see if anyone else has had this problem,

check timing, either that or maybe it managed to carbon seize, either way you will be pulling heads due to the fact you will have bent valves if the timing went and if its a carbon seize you have to scrape the carbon out.
