so i previously i had an issue with my 2000 chevy k2500 6.5. It was an air in fuel issue. So I bled the fuel. and while i was at it did half the plugs the rest was planned for today but needed to run somewhere. At first the fuel pump wasn't running. then a few hours later its was. Few moments later I notice somewhere around the housing its leaking fuel. So I cranked it, sound like it wanted to start but kept cranking and puffing. Finishing plugs. and is only 45 out rn and no codes at all.

If it is leaking it could also be sucking air.
You will have to locate the leak and replace the seal/o-ring/repair crack.
Sorry, not much help.
