My '02 has been "hanging" in 3rd gear lately. What happens: When I depress the clutch pedal it won't come out of gear. If I double clutch it it comes right out. With the South Bend D/D when the clutch is disengaged it makes the D/D sound, and this is the case but I still cannot get it out of gear. I can stop and the clutch IS disengaged but no matter how hard I try I can't get it out of gear unless I release the pedal and depress it again. Any ideas?? Sogrand do you have any input?

The clutch has about 50k mi. on it but most of it is highway.

Thanks in advance,

Jay

Once in a great while mine will be hard to get out of gear too. Not a specific gear though, just random. I think maybe it's my forks :(.

That's what I was going to suggest, it sounds like your shift forks aren't engaging properly.

I'm guessing this is the last of the GM manual transmissions ?
