Ok say you have a dry tranny and TC how many quarts will it hold? Now lets say you put 15 quarts in and it started pouring out the front of the trans?? Does that mean I blew the front seal on start up or its coming out a overflow hole somewhere in there? The second choice would be great! ok I hope this gives someone a good laugh! It's midnight and I didn't need to see the shower coming out of the trans!! Any help would be appreciated ribbing held till I catch up on the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Good Night!!!

Well, when we installed my tranny, I believe it took around 13-15 quarts to fill her up. 2 in the conv., and the rest down the fill tube. I dont know about an overfill hole.

Did you install an aftermarket t/c? Cause some have drain plugs on them(for better fluid changes), and maybe it wasnt tight, maybe missing? I cant even remember if mine had a drain plug, it has been a while since I have been under there looking at it, what a good tranny!!

I am now stumped?

The best advice I could give you is talk to Dave @ Goerend Bros., or Mike at ATS. When I was doing my tranny shopping, both of these guys had lots of info for me and didnt hesitate to answer my queshtions. I am sure there are others DTT, Suncoast, ETC., these are just the ones that I know of.

you read my mind!! Just got done talking with Dave! There is a vent behind the TC if you put to much in it will come out there! This TC is awsome and Dave is just great for help! I would recommend Goerend to anybody. This truck drives like a whole new beast! Got it up to 100 wow does it shift awsome! And now we know!
