Do you have an aftermarket exhaust........i sure hope not!!! It could possibly be a hole rubbed due to the bigger Down pipe if you do have an aftermarket if not id check all the clamps and connections the best time to check for a leak is early in the ocld morning when you get a little blue smoke!!

well on a duramax if has a stock turbo he would not have messed with the down pipe. he would have removed if anything would have been the front pipe and i never seen one of those rub on any install i have every done. the only time u mess with the down pipe if you change chargers and the one i have is a bigg charger with a 3 1/2 dp and it dont run anything. try to hit the recirculate button on your heater and see if that helps because it is sucking fresh air if u dont hit it that button. it happens with stock exhaust to sometime the wind will be blowing right and it is sucking it in the fresh air vent

i went back today to the company that installed my down pipe and exhaust and they said they could not find any fuel leaks in the engine bay. They told me to use the circulating air in the cab because the smell could be from the air from the engine bay thats giving out the smell.
