DT360? What is the story

I see some trucks with DT 360's How big? How heavy? Problems? Advantages etc. Is it just a destroked or downsized 466? Do they share the same block or are they smaller. Do they compare favorably to the 5.9? I have a friend looking at conversion options.

So what are the dimensions? What output can you expect? I know it is a IL6 but is it a 2 valver or 4? Does it use the same Bosch pump that is easily modified? Good turbo? How much does one weigh? Makes me wonder why they didn't use those instead of the 444. I think it may have been more of a familiarity issue, the 6.9 was something folks were used to, it was decent the 7.3 was a step up. To go back to a 6.0 might not have sold. They already had it packaged. I am more curious then anything. My PSD only has 60k on it.
