Have some time and miles on the truck. Economy has increased .5MPG in the city and the highway is atleast .8MPG. Reason I dont have a good number for highway is that I have been on some State calls and rushing to get there.

My opinion is this works, but the oil temp sensor trick is a bad idea on my truck. Maybe it works on others, not on mine.

So how did u block it off

Buy 2 gaskets with this part number. Use the gasket as a template for the block off. 14ga steel, or stainless plate. Sandwich the plate between the 2 new gaskets. It’s on the driver side, right between cyl #1 and 2.

I am not sure about those older ones, but I did bunch of DPF EGR deletes on the DT466 207-2012.
They require you to put 2 block off plates, straight pipe or drill the filters, and install ECM tune.
Be very careful who you let do your ecm tuning, since what I found out is that most of shops cut open the ecm in order to access the internal memory of it.
The only company that does them fully online, and the company that I use is MAXXFORCE EGR DELETE | DPF DELETE | SCR DELETE | DEF DELETE
I had real good luck with them!
Also be careful about exhaust manifold cracks.
