Possibly it may something to do with the harmonics in the engine. Kind of like a knock sensor on a gasser. There we no codes for injector issues or fuel issues? Just a thought.
Nope that's the only code.... Blackstone did call me the last time that I sent my oil in saying there was coolant & 5 times the normal amount of metals in my oil, so I am assuming there is a good amount of damage in there.
I had a 2000 F350 with a 7.3 in it that I had installed higher flowing injectors in. The tip of one of the injectors broke and it was dumping too much fuel. It sounded like you were hitting the side of the block with a hammer. May be something screwy going on with the injector? Just a thought. :shrugs
Sounds like it could be a fuel injector or a pushrod or other valve issue. Either way, the diagnostics is very involved.
