ha ha ha thanks ryan, you taint.

no, if i had the $$$ to fix it i would be diagnosing then fixing, though with what little money i have, id rather save the headache (hearing it from pa's ol lady day in day out) bout my truck sitting in driveway disabled.

I think his truck might be better off with him sitting on his hands...............
going to be time for me to get in there. he's worked on my 12v, now i need to work on his.

i think his just needs some TLC and for him to get in and check things. he wont even do that.

Jeremy, ill help ya.

The big one that's after the article is a DT466's pump(notice the funny blue). The ones in the article have been accumulated over the years online, and a couple were ones I took.

ok guys ill probaly do this after i get my question answer. my phone is being a tart so.

garrett on the last page you were saying you have to wait for valve springs??? what for??

and is it better to do it 3 or 4 clicks. i dont want the spring to break or whatever. i want to do it safe. and yes i know a kit is the safest way but i have more important things to buy first.

You can bottom out the nuts and the springs wont break. They're like valve springs. If you're worried about it, just do 3 clicks. That way you likely wont have to bring the idle back down.

:whs

when i did 4 clicks i had to bring the idle back down and it doesnt like to idle. had to set it at like 850-900.

some advice. dont slice your finger open while trying to put the governor plug back in. i cant get it back together now.

yes i do actually have better advice. Call Garrett, Text Garrett, and get videos from Garrett. Basically its like he was here and did it for me. But putting that dam plug back in should have took less then a hour and a half.

so Garrett. Thanks my friend

my truck now flys and trans shifts so smooth!!!!!!

gotta lower idle. idle in drive is 1100

I'm hoping to put my 4K kit in this weekend....I am putting a 4K kit in because it fuesl harder but with the auto I doubt it will ever see over 3200 RPM.....should I go the 1 initial click and then 4 after or 3 after?

ok i did 4 clicks. now can i go more or i gotta get the gsk??

Yep. Any more than 4, and you lose your ability to idle. It'll idle, but at about 1000rpm.

idle in drive at 1000?

If you go too many it can. Try it, and see. That's pretty much all that can go wrong if you go too far.

hmm. this is going to make me think now. idle at 1000 or defuel every shift still
