doesnt sound too bad but that motor has to be seriously lacking power with no turbo. even if it is set up to run NA i still dont think it would be fun.

Not a huge fan of the U-joint just kinda flopping around there.

 

Just found a video of a 6B with no turbo. It actualy sounds pretty good without it. Now if someone could custom make a manifold and just have 4" exhaust going down the truck running without the turbo i bet it would sound good! YouTube - Le Frog's engine starting up Cummins 6B

I've been searching, but actually the 6B is actually factory and the motor wasn't built by cummins, it was actually built by Leyland. They are the same, the only difference is that the Cummins 6B has the Leyland badge on it instead of cummins. So he didn't take the turbo off, it was factory with no turbo. I think Leyland is in UK, explains why you don't see any factory 5.9s in US. Wonder what power they make NA.
